The IR 19 BT is a high-quality internet radio streamer that combines a variety of music and playlist playback options.  It can play stations from internet radio, FM radio and DAB+ radio. The music streamer also has a USB port for hard drives and an AUX IN for devices such as an MP3 player. The network audio player can also access the existing music database from the home network. The IR-19 BT is the ideal addition for smart homes, 100 V systems and generally for any type of speaker system in private and commercial areas. The device can be used as a stand-alone or 19″ built-in version.

Diverse music program

The IR 19 BT is a versatile audio playback device that perfectly reproduces music that can be accessed via various transmission channels.

The integrated tuner modules for FM and DAB+ reception as well as access to over 20,000 Internet radio stations leave no musical desire unfulfilled. A large selection of radio stations with high reception quality is available. The FM radio works with RDS (Radio Data System) so that additional information such as the name of the radio station, title and artist of the song being played can be shown on the display.

Furthermore, shared network files can also be streamed from the UPnP media server. The music player also has a USB host port for direct playback of MP3, AAC, AAC+, WMA, WAVE and FLAC files from a USB stick or USB hard drive. The device also contains a queue with up to 500 tracks in the playlist and playlists from multiple UPnP servers and USB devices can be mixed.

The “Play To” function allows the transfer of music data from a WINDOWS PC directly to the IR 19 BT (Digital Media Renderer (DMR) operation).

The music world of the Internet or that from the internal and external memory of a device such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop and computer can be transmitted via Bluetooth. If you wish, you can stream music from many music apps such as Spotify, Deezer, SoundCloud, AppleMusic, YouTube, Amazon Music, TuneIn, Napster, TIDAL etc. and listen to your favorite songs via the IR-19 BT on the connected audio system. The IR-19 BT is also Spotify Connect capable.

Do you have a CD collection, for example? The AUX connection allows you to play your existing music collection via external audio sources such as CD players and MP3 players.

The IR-19 BT can be connected as an audio source to any Hi-Fi amplifier or 100 V amplifier via the Line Out. In addition, not only external audio sources can be connected via the Line In, but also headphones via the headphone output.

The audio player is connected to the network via WLAN or Ethernet RJ45 socket (LAN connection). The device is also compatible with all common network protocols and encryption methods, including Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).

Easy handling

The music player has easy-to-understand navigation (multiple network profiles) and controls. A 2.7” display can show a comprehensive configuration and information display with six lines of text and status icons. The default language is English, but the following languages ​​can also be selected: Danish, Dutch, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Finnish, Norwegian, Portuguese, Turkish, Polish, Swedish.

The integrated equalizer is configured via control buttons or via the free UNDOK app (for Android / iOS) using a smartphone.

The included infrared remote control also ensures optimal ease of use.

Advantageous functions

The sound can be adapted to the room using the integrated equalizer. There are various preset equalizer modes, e.g. Classic, Pop… and user-defined settings such as bass, treble and volume. 10 presets are possible for Internet radio, DAB and FM. These can be assigned to each individual radio station.

Inactive standby allows you to set a time after which the device should automatically switch to standby mode when inactive. (Off, 2 hours, 4 hours, 5 hours, 6 hours).

Furthermore, the snooze time and alarm intervals can be set using the sleep/snooze function.

Some DAB broadcasts offer Dynamic Range Compression (DRC) and these stations can be set to Dynamic Compression. This setting, for example, increases the volume of quiet sounds and reduces the volume of loud sounds.
